What's Included

Everything you need to actually practice — not just watch.

01 · Monthly live pasta workshops

Every month we cook a new pasta shape together on Zoom — 2+ hours of hands-on practice with Sarah guiding you through every step. Ask questions in real time, learn from what other members are doing, and actually make something you'll be proud to eat.

02 · Professionally-filmed lesson videos

Each live workshop is accompanied by a professionally-filmed lesson video — clean audio, close-up technique shots, and your own pace. Watch before class to prep, or rewatch afterward when you're practicing at home mid-week.

"My husband told me to sign up for the year because he thought I'd be hooked after one month. Husbands are sometimes right. So I did — and he was."

Sam T. – Pasta Club Member

03 · Member discussion board

A private community on Circle where members share their results, ask questions between classes, and cheer each other on. This is where a lot of the real learning happens — seeing someone else's photo of a dish you're about to attempt is worth a thousand recipe notes.

04 · Monthly giveaways

Each month we give away pasta tools, cookbooks, and other Italian kitchen goods to members who share their work. A little extra incentive to actually make the pasta — and show it off.

05 · Downloadable recipes & reference sheets

Every month's recipe — with ingredients, equipment, and Sarah's notes — is yours to keep. Print it, save it, scribble on it. Build your own pasta reference library over time.

06 · Pasta Making Foundations Course — free with membership

Every new member gets immediate access to our beginner pasta course at no extra cost. Covers dough ingredients, tools, mixing and kneading, sheeting technique, and more. Start here if you're new — or use it as a refresher anytime.

Who This Is For

This club is for you if...

You keep meaning to make pasta — but never quite get around to it. You've watched the videos. You own the board. Life just keeps getting in the way. The club gives you a reason to actually do it, every single month.

You learn better when someone can answer your questions. Recipes are great but they lack nuance and real-time troubleshooting guidance. In the club, you can ask Sarah directly — and learn just as much from what everyone else is asking too.

You're a beginner who wants a supportive place to start. You don't need any experience to join. Sarah teaches from a home cook's perspective, not a professional chef's. Mistakes are part of the process — and everyone here has made them.

You already make pasta and want to go further. New shapes, new techniques, new sauces. If you've mastered the basics and want to keep stretching, there's always something harder to try next.

You want to cook with people who actually love this stuff. Pasta people are a special breed of people. The community aspect is a big part of this club! Members share their results, cheer each other on, and show up every month. It's the pasta table you didn't know you were missing.

Your pasta teacher

Sarah Ubertaccio

Fun fact: I didn't grow up making pasta. I fell in love with it in Italy — watching it being made in the tiny trattorias of Bologna and tasting tagliatelle, garganelli and tortellini everywhere I went. After living in Italy for 5 years, I returned home to the U.S. and yearned to taste that same pasta again. So I practiced....and practiced...and practiced. And now here I am more than a decade later, more confident than ever in my pasta making. (Although trust me, I'm still learning – and probably will be for life!)

That confidence is what I want to give you.

I founded qb Cucina in 2020 because I wanted to make the tools and knowledge I'd discovered in Italy more accessible to home cooks in the US.

Since then I've taught hundreds of people to make pasta from scratch — beginners who'd never touched a rolling pin, and experienced cooks who wanted to go further than fettuccine.

What I've learned is that the biggest barrier is almost never technique. It's not having someone in the room to answer your questions when something goes wrong, or someone to encourage you to keep going when you want to give up.

That's exactly what the Pasta Club is designed to fix. We cook together, we troubleshoot together, and we practice together — every single month. I'm not a professional chef. I'm a home cook who has spent years figuring this out, and I genuinely love teaching it.

FAQ

Absolutely — beginners are very welcome. Sarah teaches from a home cook's perspective, not a professional chef's. You don't need any prior experience, just a willingness to practice and make a few mistakes along the way. The Pasta Making Foundations Course, included free with your membership, is a great place to start before your first live class.

You'll complete your signup on Circle, the platform where the qb Pasta Club community lives. It's a simple, one-page checkout — you'll create a Circle account (or log in if you already have one) and your membership starts immediately. All your classes, videos, recipes, and the discussion board are accessible from Circle on any device.

Each month focuses on a different pasta shape and sauce pairing — along with the cultural and regional backstory behind the dish. Past topics have included ravioli all'uovo, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, fileja with nduja, and rotoli di asparagi. Shapes range from beginner-friendly to more advanced, so there's always something to stretch toward. Members can request topics, too!

No worries — every live Zoom class is recorded and posted to Circle within 24 hours. You can watch at your own pace, rewatch as many times as you like, and still post questions in the discussion board. The professionally-filmed lesson video is also always available, so you'll never fall behind.

Classes are held once a month, typically around the middle of the month. We usually have classes on Saturdays from 3-5PM EST, but this may vary from time to time. The exact date and time for each session is announced before the start of the month (usually two or three months ahead of time) so you can plan ahead. All classes are recorded for members who can't make it live.

Not much — and you likely already have most of it. The basics are a wooden pasta board or clean countertop, a bench scraper, a kitchen scale, and either a pasta machine or a long Italian rolling pin. For some shapes, a ridged board (gnocchi board or garganelli comb) and a fluted wheel are helpful. The one true requirement: a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access for the live Zoom classes.

Sarah often offers alternatives to any fancy tools so you can learn how to make most shapes with what you have.

As much or as little as fits your week. The live class runs 2+ hours once a month — that's the only scheduled commitment. Most members also practice on their own during the month, but there's no requirement. If you miss a class or a month of practice, the recordings are always there when you're ready.

he member community lives entirely on Circle — a private platform separate from Instagram, Facebook, or any other social network. You don't need a social media account of any kind to participate. Just a Circle account, which you'll create when you sign up.

Yes, anytime. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees. You can cancel through your Circle account settings before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. We'd be sad to see you go, but we understand that life happens! Note: we do not offer refunds for payments already made.

The Pasta Maker's Pathway was our original 8 to 10-week course designed for beginner pasta makers, and it laid the foundation for everything we do now. The qb Pasta Club is its natural evolution — a live, community-driven membership that goes deeper, covers more shapes, and lets you cook alongside other pasta lovers every month. If you took the Pathway and loved it, the club is your next step.
